First exhibited at Liverpool Biennial in 2006, as winner of the NOISE Festival Fine Art Prize, Rebecca took an early detour from the arts to complete a degree in physics.
After graduating top of her class, Rebecca spent a short time attempting to hold down a prestigious office job, before booking a one-way flight to Berlin in 2014, where she reconnected with her love of performance and the visual arts.
Rebecca’s work is inspired by scenes that combine industry and infrastructure with the natural world. She often finds this inspiration in the landscapes of northern England, where she grew up, and her current home, Berlin. You can see her paintings on Saatchi Art.
Rebecca also writes and performs 'The Unreal Book', a series of concept albums that weave together songs, narrative and soundscapes to create an immersive story of other worlds. You can listen to it on SoundCloud.
